Instructions for using fingerprint lock (BY-F040)

※ When the product is shipped, it will be shipped in automatic mode.
※ Automatic mode: When the product is operated, the latch is lowered and can be opened.
After 4 seconds, the latch will automatically lift and lock.
Even if the door is closed with the latch raised, it will automatically lock.
※ When the battery is exhausted and cannot be opened, it can be opened by connecting power to the USB port.

1. Fingerprint registration—A total of 20 fingers can be registered
If you insert the pin into the reset hole and press it for about 1 second, the fingerprint reader will light up blue.
If you press the finger you want to register on the fingerprint reader once, the green light will turn on, then press 4 more times.
(touch a total of 5 times) turns green and is registered.

※If the registration is incorrect, the red light will be on and you will have to re-register from the beginning.
※To open, press the fingerprint reader with your registered finger and the green light will turn on to open.
※If you press it with an unregistered finger, the red light will be on and it will not open.
– If the red light turns on even when you touch the registered finger, it does not match the angle of the finger at the time of registration.
This is a temporary phenomenon and opens when touched again
– The above phenomenon can be overcome by registering and slightly changing the fingerprint up, down, left, and right during the registration process.

2. Additional fingerprint registration
If you repeat step 1. again with an additional finger to register, that additional finger will be registered.

3. Remove fingerprints
If you insert the pin into the reset hole, the blue light on the fingerprint reader will turn on and stay pressed for about 4 seconds.
If there is a red light on the fingerprint reader, all fingerprints have been deleted.

※If fingerprints are not registered or all have been deleted, press any finger
It will open and automatically lock again after 4 seconds.
